Registration for next year's convention has now begun.  The 22nd Illinois State Square and Round Dance Convention will be held in the north-central town of DeKalb, IL from Friday, July 29, 2005 - Sunday, July 31, 2005.
From Beloit, WI, near the Wisconsin-Illinois border, DeKalb is only 60 miles (about 1 hour) south and slightly east (I-39 to I-88).  DeKalb is about 2 hours east of the Quad Cities area on I-88 and reachable in under 1½ hours from most parts of the Chicagoland area and from some cities in Northwest Indiana.
We encourage those who do not yet know how to square dance and would like to join us for next year's fun to ask someone (soon) who does square dance how to prepare for the event.

The 21st Illinois State Square and Round Dance Convention in Macomb, IL took place Friday, July 30, 2004 - Sunday, August 01, 2004.  Thank you to those who joined us in the fun this year or came just to watch.  We hope you enjoyed it.
